Camera: It comes designed with 5 MP, 2592х1936 pixels with autofocus ability capable of Touch focus, geo-tagging, HDR and video capture feature enabled by 480p but lacks the front secondary camera.

Battery: The Motorola RAZR D1 is powered by Li-Ion 1785 mAh battery whose music play time, standby time and talk time is yet to be official.

Multimedia: Stereo radio, MP3, MP4, AAC+, WAV, WMA,H.263, H.264, WMV players. The Analog/ Digital TV tunner with GPS support puts this midrange smartphone on class of its own. For multimedia messaging it has SMS(threaded view), MMS, Email, Push Email and IM.

Other Features: Include Google Search, Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Google Talk, Picasa, Organizer, Photo viewer/editor, Document viewer, Voice memo/dial and Predictive text input.

Pros: It has optional dual SIM with extensible memory capacity. It is also light and thin to handle and operate with ease.

Cons: Has a smaller touch screen and a camera with lower resolution that takes poor quality videos.

Verdict: The ultimate test will be how this smartphone fairs in the market given that it’s been released along side other differentiated brands from the same manufacturer.
