The Starmobile Knight is another flagship phone from Filipino with some of the best smart features seen in a smartphone yet. It has very competitive features, combined with stellar form factor and it is priced quite fairly making it a very competitive phone in Filipino and the world in general.

The following are some of the features found on the Starmobile Knight. They include:

Design: It is a Dual SIM, Dual 3G and Dual Standby phone. It comes with the Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system.

Display: It has a 4.7 Inched IPS Display with Corning Gorilla Glass which is scratch resistant. It has a HD Resolution and a pixel density of 315 pixels per inch.

Hardware: Under the hood it has a Quad Core 1.2 GHz MediTek Processor and PowerVR SGX544 MP GPU with a 1 GB RAM. It has a 4 GB internal storage capacity which can be expanded to 32 GB using a microSD card.

Camera: It is equipped with an 18 MP rear facing camera with additional features such as LED Flash, BSI and auto focus. It also has an 8 MP front camera with BSI and auto focus functions.

Connectivity and Technology: It terms of connectivity it has Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot, HSPA+, Bluetooth, 3G, a-GPS and GPS.

Battery: The Knight series is powered by 2000 mAh battery but more details in terms of how long it can power the phone in terms of talk time, stand-by time, music playback and video playback has not been established yet.

Multimedia: It has FM Radio, Music player which sorts your music library in terms of playlists, artists and albums. It also supports video playback.

Other Features: In terms of messaging it supports Email, Push Mail, MMS, and SMS threaded view.

Pros: The Starmobile Knight has a great design made out of quite expensive material giving it a unique elegance. The camera quality (both rear and front camera) have a rich megapixel properties. The phone has an impressive mobile game experience, courtesy of fast processor, big RAM space and good screen resolution. It has got LED light notification of incoming texts, calls, low battery and missed calls among others. This features works out to your advantage when you have to put the phone in “silent mode” but want to be notified of any phone activities. The battery performance on the Starmobile Knight is definitely above average. When you buy it from a certified distributor, you are given free memory card, screen protector and a free case.

Cons: The pictures captured by its camera appear somewhat pinkish and not as expected with its 18 MP rear camera. While operating the phone, it crashes on a number of occasions. The phone is a bit out of reach in terms of pricing, considering a phone of its caliber.

Verdict: The Starmobile Knight smartphone is a mid-level smartphone that will deliver good enough services you would expect from a smartphone but the phone’s manufacturer still has some improvement to do on this phone.
