The Samsung Galaxy Fresh S7390 was released to the consumer market by the South Korean manufacturer Samsung on October 2013 and released on the same month. It is part of the recently launched smartphone from Samsung.

Design: The Samsung Galaxy Fresh S7390 comes with an Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system. Weighs in at about 126 grams and with a body dimension of 4.78×2.48×0.43 inches.
Display: It has a 4 Inched TFT capacitive touchscreen display with 480×800 pixels resolution. The pixel density on this phone is 233 ppi. It can display more than 16 million colors spectrum.
Hardware: Under the hood, it is packed with a 1 GHz processor backed with a 512 MB RAM. It has internal memory of 4 GB which can be expanded up to 64 GB with a microSD card.
Camera: It has a 3.15 MP rear camera with a 2048×1536 pixels resolution with ability to record motion pictures. It however doesn’t have any front camera on it.
Connectivity and Technology: In terms of technology it can support 2G Network (GSM), 3G Network (HSDPA) and in terms of connectivity it has GPRS, EDGE, HSDPA, HSUPA, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 4.0, and microUSB (USB 2.0).
Battery: It has a 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery which can power the phone for up to 350 hours of Stand-by and 8 hours of Talk time. It also can support 42 hours of music playback.
Multimedia: It has a YouTube player, and music player which arranges you music library in terms of playlists, albums and artists. The music player can also play in the background as well as displaying album art cover. It supports the following audio files: FLAC, eAAC+, MP3 and WAV. While in terms of video playback it supports H.264, WMV and MP4 files. It has TBD Radio and awesome speakerphone and earpiece.
Other Features: Other features on this phone include: SNS integration, video/image editor, organizer, G-Mail, Google Maps, Google Search, G-Talk, Picasa, Document viewer, voice dialing, voice memo, predictive text input. In terms of messaging, it has Push Email, Email, MMS, IM and SMS threaded view. It also features HTML browsers and in terms of sensors it has accelerometer, compass and proximity. It also has Java MIDP emulator to support Java based applications.
Pros: The phone’s screen size is relatively large at 4 inches it is considered a large phone display. The internet speed on this phone is fairly fast (HSDPA & HSUPA).
Cons: The screen has got poor resolution and with an equally poor pixels density concentrations. It is an entry level smartphone with a RAM of 512 MB and a 1 GHz processor. It can’t claim to be anywhere close to some of the fastest smartphones in the market.
Verdict: This phone is a low-end smartphone which is suitable for users who wish to have a smartphone but are on a very tight budget. It can pass off and do virtually all the functions you would expect from a smartphone, but as a user you’ll have to practice more patience than your counterparts with faster processing smartphones.
