CloudFone Smartphone Company has addressed the major problem faced by most smartphone users. Most smartphone run out of battery power even before the day ends. That is why CloudFone launched the Cloudfone Thrill 400qx that comes with two batteries thus giving the smartphone twice the battery life support.

The Cloudfone Thrill 400qx smartphone has two interchangeable batteries which mean if one runs out, you instantly replace it with the other and get your full power on as you charge the first one. This essentially means perpetually, you will never have to worry about a dead battery hence having your phone off. Design: The Cloudfone Thrill 400qx smartphone weighs in at about 130/170 grams, with a body dimension of 117.0×64.0x10.5/13.7 mm. It comes in a range of two colors options: black and white. It also comes in an option to two: Mini SIM – Regular and Dual SIM type. It is a mid-level smartphone operating the Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) operating system.

Display: It has a 4 Inched IPS Display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and a pixel density of 233 ppi. Other features on the screen include OGS, WVGA, Multi-touch and it is made of scratch resistant material.

Hardware: Under the hood it has a Quad Core 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex A5 Processor and Adreno 203 GPU, Qualcomm MSM8225Q Processor and a 512 MB of RAM. It also has an internal storage space of 4 GB which can be expanded further up to 32 GB using a microSD card.

Camera: It has a rear camera with 8MP properties coupled with other features that include LED Flash and auto focus. The video capture property of the camera is non-HD. It also has a front VGA camera for taking selfies among other reasons.

Connectivity and Technology: In terms of connectivity it has Wi-Fi hotspot, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 3.0, 3G Connectivity, HSDPA and HSUPA. In terms of Network technology is supports 2G Network (850/900/1800/1900 – both SIM 1 & SIM 2) and 3G Network (WCDMA 2100 – only SIM 1).

Battery: It comes in an option to 2 batteries types: removable 3,000 mAh Li-Ion and 1,450 mAh Li-Ion battery packs.

Multimedia: It comes with a music player that arranges you music library in terms of playlists, albums and artists. It supports background playing mode and showcases album cover art. The music player supports the following audio files: MP3, WAV, FLAC and eAAC+, while the video playback option supports the following files formats: DivX, Xvid, MP4, H.264, H.263 and FLV.

Other Features: In terms of messaging is has IM, Email, Push Mail, MMS and SMS threaded view. In terms of applications it has G-Talk and other types of web-based IM services which can be downloaded.

Pros: The screen resolution is of average properties hence it provides good pictures and videos. It has a good camera, the battery life always has a backup battery ensure uninterrupted phone use.

Cons: It has very little RAM space (512 MB) this highly limits the processing speed of the phone, meaning you can run too many applications at the same time, or you can run very heavy applications.

Verdict: This is a mid-level smartphone in which the main point of concern was reliable and long battery life service. If you are looking for a phone that has got entry to mid-level functions with long battery life then this is the phone of choice.
