With a name like Cherry Mobile Omega XL, you expect to find features which will be amusingly surprising. True to its name the Cherry Mobile Omega XL doesn’t disappoint even a bit. It offers good value for money spent, it can easily be described as one of the best sales of last year if not the best. However due to the poor sales service from Cherry Mobile, that title stands a chance to be withdrawn.

However the Cherry Mobile Omega XL smartphone packs a good punch when it comes to superior features. Some of these features are as outlined below:

Design: It comes loaded with Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system. It is a Dual SIM, Dual Stand-by phone meaning you can have two active SIM cards simultaneously.

Display: The Cherry Mobile Omega XL comes with a gigantic 6 Inched IPS OGS qHD Display with 960×540 resolution pixels. The screen material is made up of Asahi DragonTrail Scratch Resistant Glass which essentially makes it scratch proof.

Hardware: Under the hood it is packed with a Quad Core 1.3 GHz MediaTek processor with a 1 GB or RAM. It also has an internal storage capacity of 4GB but can be extended further to 32 GB using a microSD Card.

Camera: Cherry Mobile Omega XL features a 13 MP rear camera which has advanced camera features which includes LED Flash and BSI feature. The front camera has 8 MP with LED Flash and auto focus feature. This essentially makes it one of the best front cameras on a cellular device currently.

Connectivity and Technology: In terms of network technology is supports Dual band GSM/ 3G (HSPA) connectivity. It also has Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, microUSB (USB 2.0) and a 3.5 mm headphone connector among others.

Battery: The Cherry Mobile Omega XL is powered by a 2450 mAh battery, which can keep the phone running for up to 8 to 10 hours on a 3G Network and a brightness level of 15% to 30%. The phone has a truly bright phone, hence you will not need to put the light to the maximum. By further minimizing the lights, the battery stays up to 16 to 17 hours. This is amazing considering that the phone has a 6 inched display.

Multimedia: The phone comes with great video playback ability and the gaming experience on this phone is much advanced. It also has a music player, FM Radio and a YouTube player.

Other Features: In terms of messaging it has Email, Push Mail, IM, MMS and SMS threaded view. It also supports various IM- apps such as G-Talk, Google Maps, Google search and other similar apps.

Pros: It has a very big display with good qualities. The processor is fast and energy efficient, it has lots of RAM space.

Cons: The extremely large display might not agree so well with individuals who appreciate discreetly sized phones.

Verdict: The Cherry Mobile Omega XL Phablet is definitely superior smart features at a very affordable price.
