Cherry Mobile has several teasers before finally launching the Cherry Mobile Blaze 2.0. This model has been referred to as Laida Magtalas 2.0 in platforms such as Facebook. Due to its big display it is classified under the Phablet category.

Design: The Cherry Mobile Blaze 2.0 Phablet comes with Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean) operating system. It is a Dual SIM, Dual Standby phone which will enable you to stay online with more than one active SIM card.
Display: It is equipped with a 5.7 Inched HD-IPS Display. The screen has a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The screen is made of Asahi Glass Scratch Resistant material, with 5 point Multi-touch support.
Hardware: Under the hood it has a Quad Core 1.2 GHz Processor and a PowerVR SGX 544 GPU. It also has a 1 GB of RAM. This is more than enough to enable the phone to run several heavy applications at the same time (it does multi-tasking easily). It has an internal storage of 4 GB which can be expanded to 32 GB using a microSD card.
Camera: It is equipped with a 12 MP rear camera with LED Flash and other advanced camera features which includes BIS Sensor and auto focus. It also has a 3 MP front camera with BSI sensors.

Pros: The display is large and has got impressive resolution to display images and graphics quite clearly. This is especially important for individuals who like watching videos and playing games. The big screen has the advantage of making typing much easier and faster. The battery life is above average which is a good thing considering the big display it has, which is what consumes power the most. It has excellent camera properties in terms of megapixels, they also have superior video recording capability with 1080 p which is quite excellent. It also comes with LED notification which alerts you of any missed calls, unread SMS, low battery, charging, charging complete.
Cons: Upon a close observation of the LCD Display, you will notice it is recessed much deeper under the surfaces glass. The Cherry Mobile Blaze 2.0 has a very bland design on the back while the software key has a redundant physical home button.
Verdict: The Cherry Mobile Blaze 2.0 Phablet is a good phone with impressive features. It is an impressive Phablet to have, with big hardware and amazing software to back it up.
